The Sometimes Lucky Life Of Me

Went to visit my grandad with the family the other day with it being the Christmas holidays and all;
•My dog suffers from travel sickness; she threw up outside a little chef.
•My dad was greeted with this when he returned to the car from his toilet break…Cleaned as best he could with limited materials…the vomit ended up on the cars carpet…Dad not happy.
•Finally got to grandads after 3 hours drive; he forgot that we were coming.
•Classic day for our family.

Started the day by burning my head for the second time in 3 weeks since I got my fringe…Im not one for straughtening my hair and such, but I cannot stand it when people have a flat ‘spikey’ fringe…Like some card celotaped to the top of their head, flapping about. No. Instead I curl mine under at the ends, but this has now lead to my having of two burns either side of my forehead.

The annoying thing is if I got rid of the fringe you would see my pink shiney bits healing very slowly….If I never got the fringe it wouldnt have happened.

Anyhow, sitting here unmotivated to do my sketchbook work for Uni; looked up the photographers though; I now have a nicely colour co-ordinated list of who is most relevant to study, etc.

Now I just hve to get it done by next Monday’s critique..

Heard this amazing quote the other day on ‘One Tree Hill’;

‘Happiness is not a destination. It is a mood, it is not permanent. It comes and goes and if people thought that way then maybe people would find happiness more often’

I am one of those who see it as a destination, and I never thought about it until I heard this. & so I am going to try and turn it around.

So this morning I woke up to find that I had a headache and that my room smelt of vomit?
I would love to say that this was because I’m out every night during my freshers year at Uni, but instead it is because just before bed I managed to eat 3 packets of salt and vinegar french fries crisps, only to find that when the open empty packets and crumbs are left around it will smell of vomit in the morning…The headache is purely because I managed to pick up a bug.

Tried to email my lecturer to say I wouldn’t be in only to give up after my phone shut the page down twice after writing it out fresh both times.

On a good note, Just got a Christmas card through the post, and got my cleaning solution for my camera.
